Problem: In the engine-tournament menu there is an item called “database” where I can choose the opening book for all the engines in the tournament. However, when I open this menu-item I can only choose .cbh files. And as you know, these no books! If I force in the item “all files” I can choose an opening book. In the tournament menu I must have the opportunity to choose an opening book that ends with .ctg instead of the now offered .cbh files.
Every chess engine kann use it `s own Opening Book ( under Advanced) or you use the item „Unify Book“. The item Database stands for an Opening Database, not for a Book. This is the reason why it is labeled as Database and not as Opening Book.
