In the program options, under Menu File - Options - Limits, you will find the entry " Maximum Board Windows " and " Maximum Database windows ".
What can you do with these entries in practice, or what are these values supposed to be good for ? This feature is especially useful if you have a somewhat older machine with low system resources. Each open window demands system resources and memory, which on weaker machines can lead to the fact that a smooth workflow is no longer guaranteed.
If you use ChessBase on an older computer with relatively little memory, you can speed up the workflow by reducing the values.
