Problem: I use ChessBase 14. In my case the ‘Find player’ function does not work.
The function finds absolutely nobody, no matter which name or parameters are input.
Solution: Activate access to the online player encyclopedia. You do so via the menu File – Options – Encyclopedia.
This gives you access to the continually updated online player encyclopedia. Thanks to special search accelerators the database gives a very rapid and efficient access to the player portraits.
