Question: I have installed Chessbase 17 and I can no longer see the comments in my own annotated games in the notation window. I have read about this on the internet and selected "all" under Options -> Language -> Comments, but still I cannot see the comments. When I print the game, the comments are there. Can you help with this?
Answer: In the menu File - Options - Notation you get to the settings dialog of the program.
Here you will find the entry " Display Text annotations ".
Probably this entry is deactivated.
Please activate the entrywith the mouse, then the text comments will also be visible within the notation.
