Question: after downloading a game, I drag and drop it into another game notation. This creates a hyperlink at the end of the variant, even though I unchecked it in the options under File -Options - Notation - Create Game Links. I don't want any linked text at the end of my variant, just who vs whom, where and when, not underlined, and most importantly I want to be able to edit this as text as before. What I get now as underlined game information, I can't find so far neither under text before move nor under text after move.
Am I missing something?
Answer: the described procedure does not create a hyperlink, because it is not text. It is a game quote, which is useful for such comments. The game quotes existed long before the introduction of hyperlink generation and they have always been clickable links.
