Question: when viewing games, a long algebraic notation comes up in the notation window and in the engine window. However, I prefer the short algebraic notation display. I suspect that somewhere there is a way to change this setting. I can't find the corresponding dialog.
Answer: You can change the most important settings via the options dialog. In the chess program, select "Classic menus" in the start screen and then menu "File - Clock and notation".
