Question: Only black pieces are displayed on the board. All other aspects seem ok, what am I doing wrong?
Maybe not all chess fonts are installed properly.

Rightclick Chess board - Dialog Board Design
From the font list inside Fritz, select for instance “Fritz”, if you select Blindwhite, only the black pieces will be displayed.
