Take positions from the website

Question: on your website interesting articles are posted. There is a diagram there whose position I would like to copy to Chessbase 16 or Fritz 18 to practice with.

I logged on to the website with my Chessbase account, press the disk icon below the diagram, the second time I press it, FEN copied appears on the diagram (the first time I press it, nothing happens), now I think the position is on the clipboard.

I open CB16 and Fritz 18, set up the position, paste FEN and only a black knight appears on a8. This is very frustrating.

When I do this in the board window (paste position), all I get is: The clipboard does not contain a legal position.  How do I copy a position from the web page to CB16 or Fritz18?

Answer: Switch from the browser with the task manager to F18 or CB 16. Start a new board window in CB 16 or a new game in Fritz 18.

Now you can use the key combination CTRL-V to transfer the diagram position from the Windows clipboard directly into the Windows program!
