Question: I primarily play on my laptop with the touchpad. Unfortunately this leads to quite a few slips where I accidentally release the piece before its destination. Is there a way to change the interface so I can click the piece, and then click the destination square?
Answer: Please disable some options in the option dialog Game.
Menu File - Options - Game.
Disable the items "Single Click Entry" and "Premove.
Now a smooth operation via touchpad should be possible without any problems.
