Question: I have just installed the ChessBase17 Setup. This has run well. Can I uninstall Chessbase16? Also, I just downloaded the update version of Mega Database 2023.
I have 2 setup files: "SetupMega2023" and "SetupMega2023CB16Searchbooster". Which one should I run?
Answer: no, you do not need to uninstall CB16. You can run both programs.
You should use both installation programs. The second program installs the search booster for the CBH format.
If you convert Mega Database 2023 to the new 2CBH format, you don't need the search booster anymore!
