Nach längerem Arbeitstag möchte man Schachnachrichten abends vielleicht nicht am großen Bildschirm, sondern irgendwo bequem auf dem Handy lesen. In unserem Büro berichtete ein Kollege unlängst eine interessante Erfahrung. Er wollte eine Partie an einen Vereinskameraden senden. Dieser Vereinskamerad - ein gefeierter deutscher Journalist - zeigte angesichts der damit verbundenen technischen Hürden geringe Akzeptanz für das vorgeschlagene PGN-Format. Der Kollege löste das Problem zur Zufriedenheit des Empfängers: Er wandelte die Partie per ChessBase in ein Video. Das funktioniert gut, doch es gibt schlanke Alternativen. Anlass für einige Vorschläge, wie man Schach mit nicht technik-affinen Freunden teilt.

Die DSOL-Partie auf PlayChess ist beendet. Natürlich möchten Sie nun auch gern wissen, wo etwas schiefgelaufen ist. Gab es bessere Möglichkeiten? Hätten auch andere Züge etwas getaugt, die Ihnen während der Partie durch den Kopf spukten. Auf PlayChess kann man dies unmittelbar nach der Partie überprüfen.
